Pretty interesting isn’t it?   Makes a person think before judging someone.

The Bible is clear about judging others.  Matthew 7:1 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”  We must admit that all of us are bias, prejudiced.  It is very true that “man looks on the outward appearance of man while only God looks on the heart.”  God alone judges rightly.  We need to leave the matter of judging the destiny of the soul of man entirely up to God.  Heaven or Hell is God’s decision for man.

However, we must be fruit inspectors for the Scripture teaches, “By their fruit you will recognize them.”        Matthew 7:16

Actions must be judged as to whether good or bad, right or wrong. God’s Word is the basis for that judgment.

As Christians, we need to judge less and love more.

  1. Max , Thanks for the reminder ! So you repeated the scripture paragraph twice, That is fine for we need reminding of this often . I am so thankfuf that God is our judge and looks on our hearts and knows all our thoughts . I know He is pleased with you ,sending out His word to so many that may not take the time to read.and study. Just maybe this will encourage us to read and study more ! So God Bless you as you continue to work each week on these devotionals !
    Love , Joann

  2. Thanks for another great devotional. Like you, I am so very Thankful that God is my Judge …. I am so unworthy … of his mercy or his grace … But Worthy is The Lamb that was slain …. that a sinner such as I …can be saved.

    Keep Sharing The Word !!!!
